Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a hospital setting. This opportunity offers exposure to a Level II trauma care environment and a chance to contribute to a multidisciplinary care team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Florida Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
- Experience treating adult medically complex patients and post-surgical rehabilitation preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Level II trauma center or high-acuity hospital preferred.
- Competence with documentation in electronic medical records preferred.

- Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.

Join the care team and provide occupational therapy services that support recovery and functional independence for hospitalized patients. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your interventions will address activities of daily living, mobility, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning to improve patient outcomes.
