Offloader - Final Mile

Warehouse Position

Physical warehouse position unloading tractor trailer loads of furniture and staging it for deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a minimum daily offloading output as provided by the management
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and environment
• Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all team members
• Execute the placement of delivery items as specified by the management
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work professionally alongside co-workers
• Embrace the Werner Final Mile Values
• A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required in addition with the ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent experience.
• One plus years transportation / Logistics / customer product assembly / delivery of furniture or appliances, or experience with a moving company.
• Must be 18 years old. Able to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Speak English and communicate with coworkers and read assembly instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Seeing and hearing: Read documents, 75-100%
• Communicate in person. 100%
• Standing and walking. 0-75%
• Climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling. 0-75%
• Dexterity: utilizing hand Dolly / Hand Cart 75-100%
• Lift more than 50-80 pounds. 75-100%

The expected starting pay range for this position is $16.73 - $22.30 per hour. Offers determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
