Physical Requirements:

  • Climbing: Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, or ramps.
  • Clothing PPE: Ability to wear personal protective gear.
  • Dexterity: Use hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech.
  • Lifting: Able to lift 20 to 50lbs repetitively throughout the course of a shift.
  • Light to moderate physical activity performing non-strenuous to somewhat strenuous daily activities of a production/technical nature.
  • Operating equipment that requires hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity.
  • Operating heavy equipment: Warehouse workers may need to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Positioning: Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Postures: Bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching. Twisting at the waist.
  • Pushing or Pulling: Pushing/pulling objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Reaching: Reaching overhead, at or below the shoulder, and with hands and arms.
  • Repetitive Motions: Many warehouse tasks involve repetitive motions.
  • Standing and Walking: Will need to stand for long periods of time, or walk long distances.
  • Vision: Ability to adjust focus, color vision, depth perception, distance vision, peripheral vision.

About the Role:

How you will contribute: This work is performed in a fast-paced traditional warehousing type environment. An Operator is responsible for picking automotive parts according to customer order and placing those parts in designated work areas. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped. Move items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and places them in designated areas. Scans materials and moves them according to standard work instructions where applicable. Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and reliable.
  • Perform pick and package motions over 8-12-hour shifts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Able to work with a diverse group of people and be a team player.
  • Ability to perform multiple jobs in the warehouse.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Work Schedule: 1st shift: 6AM 4:30PM 2nd shift: 6PM 4:30AM These shift schedules are subject to change depending on the customer workload.
