OR Registered Nurse

Mission Health, based in Asheville, NC, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As an integral member of our patient-centered care team, the Registered Nurse will provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population while supporting Mission Health’s commitment to improving the health and wellness of the community. In this role, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. You will administer medications and treatments, monitor and interpret changes in patient status, and respond promptly and effectively to emergent situations using sound clinical judgment. Accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record will be essential, as will clear, compassionate communication with patients and their families. Education and advocacy are key components of this position; you will help patients and families understand diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans, empowering them to participate actively in their care.
