We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Service Contracts Architect to help design and deliver a solution for a complex business process that is currently being managed largely through Excel spreadsheets

.This is a hands-on architecture and solution design role rather than a traditional implementation position. The successful consultant will work closely with the business and IT teams to understand the existing process, identify how it can be delivered within Oracle EBS, and design and demonstrate a practical solution

.The ideal candidate will be an Oracle EBS Service Contracts expert who can operate at both business and technical levels — gathering requirements, challenging existing processes, developing proof of concepts, designing the target solution, and demonstrating to stakeholders how the process can be managed effectively within Oracle

.Key Responsibilitie

• sAct as the Oracle EBS Service Contracts subject matter expert and solution architect
• .Understand the current business processes being managed through Excel and identify opportunities to move these processes into Oracle EBS
• .Gather and document detailed business and functional requirements
• .Work directly with business stakeholders to understand the underlying business challenge rather than simply replicating the existing spreadsheet process
• .Assess the capabilities of Oracle EBS Service Contracts and determine how the requirements can be addressed using standard functionality, configuration, extensions or integrations
• .Design the end-to-end Oracle EBS solution architecture
• .Develop and lead proofs of concept (POCs) to demonstrate potential solutions
• .Work closely with IT and business teams to validate the proposed approach
• .Clearly demonstrate solutions to business stakeholders and explain how existing manual processes can be transformed within Oracle
• .Identify gaps between current requirements and standard Oracle EBS functionality and recommend appropriate solutions
• .Provide architectural guidance around customisation, integrations, data and process design where required
• .Produce solution designs, process documentation and recommendations
• .Support the IT team in translating the agreed architecture into a deliverable solution
• .Provide expert advice throughout the design and decision-making process

.Required Experienc

• eExtensive hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
• .Strong expertise specifically across Oracle EBS Service Contracts
• .Proven experience operating at Solution Architect / Technical Architect / Functional Architect level
• .Strong understanding of Service Contracts processes and how they can be configured and supported within Oracle EBS
• .Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders
• .Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into practical Oracle solutions
• .Demonstrable experience designing and delivering POCs within Oracle EBS
• .Experience identifying where standard Oracle functionality can replace manual or spreadsheet-based processes
• .Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, configuration, integrations and customisation options
• .Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• .Ability to explain complex Oracle concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

.Ideal Candidat

eThe successful candidate will be someone who can come into an environment where "we currently do this in Excel" and work out how the process should be handled in Oracle

.You should be comfortable asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, exploring different solution options and then proving the preferred approach through a POC or demonstration

.This is particularly suited to an Oracle EBS expert who has previously taken ambiguous business requirements and turned them into practical, scalable Oracle solutions
