The practice provides comprehensive orthopedic and musculoskeletal care, including:

- Shoulder & Elbow Care

- Nonoperative Musculoskeletal Care

Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship-trained Total Joint
- Interested in joining an independent, physician-led practice
- Committed to building a long-term career in West Texas

Call Responsibilities
- Clinic call responsibilities are shared among the orthopedic surgeons
- The group currently consists of five physicians, with call expected to grow to approximately 1:6 and beyond as additional providers join the practice
- No mandatory hospital call
- Physicians are encouraged, but not required, to participate in voluntary trauma call coverage at the local hospital
- The primary focus of the opportunity is developing an elective, subspecialty orthopedic practice
Trauma Call Opportunities
For physicians who elect to participate in trauma call, the affiliated hospital is a Level III Trauma Center. Potential cases may include:
- Extremity fractures
- Joint injuries
- Sports-related injuries
- Spine consultations
- Periprosthetic fractures
- General orthopedic trauma cases
Practice Structure & Schedule
The final schedule will be tailored to specialty focus, patient demand, operating room availability, and individual practice growth.
A typical full-time schedule may include:
- Outpatient clinic
- Surgery and procedures
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) time
- Hospital-based surgical cases
Operating Room Access
- Approximately 1 to 1.5 days of OR time weekly initially
- OR block time expands as patient volume and procedural demand increase
- Opportunity to build a robust surgical practice supported by strong referral sources and growing community demand
