Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will perform comprehensive assessments, deliver complete decongestive therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, therapeutic exercise, and patient education on self-management and prevention strategies.

You will partner closely with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to coordinate care, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans to achieve measurable outcomes. Using an electronic medical record system, you will complete timely, accurate documentation, prepare progress notes and discharge summaries, and contribute to insurance authorization and recertification processes as needed. You will also play a key role in educating patients, families, and caregivers, offering clear guidance on home programs, compression garment use, skin care, and lifestyle modifications that support long-term management of lymphedema.

Aligned with Avera Health’s culture of compassion, hospitality, and stewardship, you will help create a welcoming, respectful clinic environment where patients feel supported and empowered. You will uphold safety and infection-control standards, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to program development and community outreach related to oncology rehabilitation and lymphedema services. This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally within a regional health system known for its comprehensive continuum of care and strong clinical support.

The ideal candidate brings prior outpatient or oncology rehabilitation experience, strong clinical reasoning, and excellent interpersonal communication skills. Lymphedema certification is highly valued; candidates without certification who demonstrate a strong interest in this specialty and a commitment to obtain certification will be considered. This is a full-time, salaried role with a stable weekday schedule in an outpatient clinic setting, offering a supportive team atmosphere and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients throughout the Upper Midwest.
