Practice Setting: Inpatient neurology across two hospitals
Support/Care Team: Clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordinators, neurosurgeons, hospitalists, and intensivists
EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient Neurohospitalist services to Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewoood Ranch Medical Center
Treat a wide range of neurological disorders with a focus on acute stroke care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordinators, and dedicated care management professionals.
Comprehensive onsite neurosurgery services to support patient care

Qualifications

Active or the ability to obtain a Florida Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant/Associate (PA) license
Previous experience in Neurology or as an APP Neurohospitalist, strongly preferred
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
