Job summary:
We are seeking a Part-Time Internist to provide medical care at a state-operated hospital in Indiana.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical evaluations and ongoing patient care.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Support patient, family, and staff education.
- Follow hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- MD/DO from an accredited program.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Active, unencumbered Indiana medical license.
- Valid Indiana Controlled Substance Registration and DEA.
- Current CPR certification.
- Adult, geriatric, and adolescent (12+) patient experience.
- EMR experience required; Cerner preferred.
- State hospital experience highly preferred.
