Department: Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC)
Location: Lebanon, OH 45036
Contract Duration: At least 6 months
Hours: Part-Time, 24-32 hours/week
Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No nights, no weekends, no on-call coverage required)
Pace: Approximately 2.5 patients per hour.
Position Overview & Key Duties:
Searching for a physician who is board-certified and is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services part-time (24-32 hours/week) to a male incarcerated population. On-call coverage is not required. The schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays - and is flexible based on the needs of the facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Selected physicians will see approximately 2.5 patients/hour. The assignment may last at least 6 months if the selected physician is a good fit. The assignment could lead to permanent hire. Both a video interview and an on-site meeting/tour will be required.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's/Doctoral Degree in Medicine (MD or DO).
American Board Certification
Medical License issued by State Medical Board of Ohio.
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
