Hour/week: 24-32 hours/week
Duration: 6 months to long term
Position Summary:
Searching for a physician who is board-certified in any specialty. Have experience in primary care to provide on-site services part-time (24-32 hours/week) to a male incarcerated population. On-call coverage is not required. The schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays - and is flexible based on the needs of the facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Selected physicians will see approximately 2.5 patients/hour.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system
- Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
- Managing medication
- Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated
- Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
- Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
- Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
- Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed
- Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour
