Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Strong foundation in payroll accounting and general accounting concepts required.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in payroll, compensation accounting, or related roles, including experience with multi-state and preferably global payroll operations.
Prior experience leading payroll processes in a complex organization.
Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems, as well as Excel.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compensation best practices.
Demonstrated experience with payroll-related account reconciliations, accruals, financial reporting, and audit support.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical abilities.
Operate with the highest level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information.
Proven ability to present to, engage with, and build alignment across executive stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and commitment to operational excellence.
Ability to work non-standard hours as needed to support global payroll cycles, deadlines, and urgent issues.
