Join a growing academic Pediatric Hematology/Oncology program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) and OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois. The Division is seeking a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with a particular interest in Leukemia and Lymphoma to contribute to a collaborative team of clinicians, educators, and researchers dedicated to advancing pediatric cancer and blood disorder care throughout Central Illinois.

  • Ability to establish clinical, educational, research, leadership, advocacy, or innovation-focused interests

Clinical Practice:

The Division provides comprehensive Pediatric Hematology/Oncology care, including malignant and benign hematologic disorders, solid tumors, leukemia, lymphoma, and sickle cell disease.


Highlights include:

  • Mix of outpatient, inpatient, consultative, and procedural responsibilities

  • Approximately 8-9 patients per clinic day

  • Dedicated procedure time for bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, consultations, and related procedures

  • Physicians maintain broad Pediatric Hematology/Oncology practice while pursuing areas of special interest
