Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant will serve as a clinic medical provider in a community-focused rural health clinic, delivering comprehensive patient care across all age groups. The role combines clinical duties with administrative responsibilities to support quality care delivery and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care across a wide range of patient age groups
  • Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate
  • Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness to patients, coworkers, and supervisors
  • Support and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure quality care delivery
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
  • Ensure compliance with attendance, licensure, and clinic regulations
  • Participate in staff meetings, committees, and special projects as needed
  • Assist with the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures
  • Engage in continuous learning to advance skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

  • California Physician Assistant license
  • NCCPA certification
  • DEA license (unrestricted)
  • NPI number required
  • BLS certification required

Preferred Skills:

  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • Previous experience in primary care or underserved communities
