The Physician Assistant will serve as a clinic medical provider in a community-focused rural health clinic, delivering comprehensive patient care across all age groups. The role combines clinical duties with administrative responsibilities to support quality care delivery and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care across a wide range of patient age groups
- Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness to patients, coworkers, and supervisors
- Support and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure quality care delivery
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Ensure compliance with attendance, licensure, and clinic regulations
- Participate in staff meetings, committees, and special projects as needed
- Assist with the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures
- Engage in continuous learning to advance skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- California Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification
- DEA license (unrestricted)
- NPI number required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Skills:
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Previous experience in primary care or underserved communities
