Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager Position Description

Regional brokerage / insurance agency looking for an experienced personal lines account manager. They provide a full range of insurance coverage and benefits programs offered by more than 30 national carriers.

This is a fully and permanently remote position. Candidates can reside anywhere on the East Coast but must have a New York State Property and Casualty License and be familiar with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Increasing current coverage or adding new coverage to the firm's existing book of business.
• Marketing new and renewal business
• Positive consistent interaction with clients and markets
• Prepare renewal and new business applications & proposals
• Identify exposure and recommend appropriate solutions
• Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters
• Provide day to day client service

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience to be considered for this position
• Experience servicing personal lines clients and knowledge of personal lines markets
• Capable of multi-tasking and working multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Current NYS Property and Casualty license
• AMS 360 Software knowledge / experience is required

Compensation: Base salary up to $80,000 commensurate with relevant skill set and experience
