About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team! You'll play a key role in collecting quality specimens, supporting critical testing, and ensuring exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections accurately and efficiently
• Prioritize STAT orders and respond quickly to urgent needs
• Verify test orders and ensure specimens meet all labeling requirements
• Conduct EKGs and specialized procedures (e.g., sweat chloride, bleeding time)
• Communicate effectively with team members and support onboarding
• Step in as an accession technician when qualified

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• National Phlebotomy Certification (preferred)
• Experience with Mysis Laboratory Information System
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of basic biology, chemistry, and math
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing and walking
• Light lifting (up to 20 lbs)
• Comfortable with computer use (~40% of the time)
• Able to meet deadlines under occasional mental/visual fatigue
