Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in both full-time and per diem capacities. The ideal candidate works effectively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and is committed to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and function
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or concerns to the Physical Therapist
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Texas PTA license (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
