Minimum Requirements
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist required to start the assignment (South Carolina license required if practicing in-state).
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program required. (Master’s or Doctoral degrees acceptable if APTA-approved.)
- Proof of current CPR certification required.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance required.
- 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking, and work under some stressful conditions required.
- Must read, write and speak fluent English.
- Ability to travel locally and float to other service areas as needed.
- Meets mandatory continuing education requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous home care experience preferred.

Provide physical therapy services to patients of all ages. Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well being. Perform clinical assessments, document Plans of Care and progress notes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Provide treatment for neuromuscular, neurological and orthopedic disorders. Educate patients and families on transfers, assistive device use, and home safety. Order and adapt rehabilitative equipment to meet patient needs. Follow infection control and universal precautions. Supervise other team members when applicable. Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence.
