Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist providing home health services in York Township, PA. The clinician will evaluate, treat, and manage patients recovering from injuries and those with chronic conditions. This role requires completing start-of-care visits, evaluations, reassessments, discharges, establishing plans of care, supervising a PTA, managing an independent caseload, and scheduling patients daily.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Bachelor’s degree acceptable if institution and state licensing permit.
  • Active Pennsylvania PT license required to start the assignment.
  • Home health experience preferred and strongly encouraged.
  • Experience completing SOCs, evaluations, reassessments, and discharges in a home health setting.
  • Experience supervising PTAs and managing an independent caseload.
  • Familiarity with HCHB and OASIS preferred.
  • BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in York County or surrounding communities.
  • Experience with mileage documentation and travel between patient visits in home health.
  • Comfort with solid color scrubs or business casual dress code.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
  • Workweek: Monday - Friday.
  • Weekly hour expectation: 32–40 hours (caseload may be closer to 40 hours).
  • Coverage area: York County and western Adams County.
  • Mileage reimbursed between first and last patient visits.
