Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to treat outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting in Providence, RI. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, communicate treatment plans and progress with medical teams, and collaborate with colleagues and referring physicians. A valid state license and relevant degree are required. Thank you for your time and responsiveness.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Rhode Island physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in a clinic setting.
  • Ability to communicate treatment plans and patient progress to in-house and specialty physicians (orthopedics, hand surgeons).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in outpatient orthopedic clinics and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Previous travel or contract therapy experience preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour unpaid lunch.
  • Duration: 12 week assignment.
  • Clinician will treat outpatient orthopedic injuries and collaborate with a team of therapists and physicians.
