Travel Physical Therapist — Outpatient | Burke, VA


Provide skilled physical therapy services in an outpatient clinic in Burke, VA. Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and modify interventions based on patient progress and physician direction. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate. Document care in compliance with clinic, state, federal, and payer requirements. Participate in student education and professional development activities. Uphold professional standards, organizational code of conduct, and safety practices.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Virginia physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • At least 6 months of clinical physical therapy experience.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop functional treatment plans, and document according to regulatory and clinic standards.
  • Ability to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Outpatient clinical experience.
  • Experience with safe patient handling and materials handling practices.


Assignment Details

  • Work pattern: 5x8 schedule.
  • Scheduled hours include varied weekday start and end times: Monday 6:30–12:30; Tuesday and Thursday 9:00–19:00; Wednesday 6:30–15:00; Friday 7:00–15:30.
