Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Federal Way, WA, outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working with a multidisciplinary team. Evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal injuries. Communicate treatment plans and evaluations effectively to medical teams and report patient progress to in-house and specialty physicians. Provide assistance to colleagues in identifying clinical issues. BS or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy required. Active state license required to start the assignment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current, active Washington state PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting.
- Ability to communicate treatment plans and progress with medical teams, including orthopedic and hand surgeons.
- Client requirement: availability to work a standard clinic schedule consistent with a Monday–Friday outpatient practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic clinics treating a broad caseload of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Experience collaborating with specialty physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:00–17:00.
- Workweek: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
