Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Maine state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
- Competence in comprehensive evaluation, goal writing, documentation, and use of clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans.
- Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
- Adherence to professional codes of conduct and state practice acts. Maintain required continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or delegating tasks to therapy assistants or support staff.
- Prior involvement in student clinical education or mentorship.
- Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and quality measures in an outpatient setting.
