Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Kentucky Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Must have outpatient physical therapy experience as a licensed clinician within the last 3 years. No new graduates.
  • Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing outpatient treatment plans, and documenting per clinic and payer requirements.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides or students, and participate in student programs when assigned.
  • Adherence to state practice act, professional codes of conduct, and maintenance of required continuing education.
  • Preferred: Experience with outpatient electronic medical record documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
