Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in St. Louis, MO where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. You will evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination and strength to develop treatment plans that promote mobility and independence. Lead and guide delivery of physical therapy services in a long-term care environment in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Valid, unrestricted Missouri PT license or compact privilege to practice in Missouri at start of assignment.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience. Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing required.
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
  • Work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year of submission), references, license verification, and required certifications must be provided as part of the profile submission.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading or directing PT services in a long-term care setting.
  • Experience with mobility, fall reduction, and ADL-focused treatment planning.


Assignment Details

  • Shift: 8 hour days, 35 GWW.
  • Weekend requirement: None.
  • Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
