Physical Therapist — Hospital — Oklahoma City, OK


Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a travel Physical Therapist team in Oklahoma City where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working in an acute hospital setting. You will evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers. You will complete timely, accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to progress patients toward discharge.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Oklahoma state license or ability to obtain state license prior to start.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience in acute hospital or inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Experience with medical record documentation, goal writing, discharge planning, and letters of medical necessity.
  • Must adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising students or providing clinical education.
  • Prior exposure to performance improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care coordination.

  • Shift pattern: 5x8.
