Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• New grads accepted

• 13-week assignment
• Float to other clinics as needed
• Patient population: Outpatient Ortho

Location Highlights

Birmingham, Alabama offers a mix of urban amenities and outdoor access for traveling clinicians. Railroad Park spans 19 acres in downtown Birmingham, and Regions Field sits adjacent to the park in the Southside district. Red Mountain Park features more than 1,500 acres and over 15 miles of trails, and Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve offers additional hiking within the city. Oak Mountain State Park is about 20 miles south of Birmingham, and the Birmingham Museum of Art houses a collection of more than 29,000 objects near the city center. Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is located about 5 miles from downtown, and the city provides access to dining and entertainment in Five Points South and Avondale.
