Minimum Requirements
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist in South Carolina or compact/state licensure required prior to start. (Client requires current state license.)
- Bachelor of Science, Master, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program. (Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required by client.)
- Proof of current CPR certification. (Client requires CPR certification.)
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance. (Client requires reliable transportation and insurance.)
- 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings. (Client requires 1-2 years of relevant experience.)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking as required for home health visits. (Client physical demands specified.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally. (Client requires local travel capability.)
- Must read, write and speak fluent English. (Client requirement.)
- Preferred: Previous home care experience.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Home Health.
- Assignment Type: Travel / Temporary Contractor.
- Must plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans and document Plans of Care, progress notes, and phone orders per agency standards.
- Deliver therapy for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic diagnoses and instruct patients/families on transfers and equipment use.
- May coordinate with interdisciplinary team and supervise other team members when applicable.
