Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
  • Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
  • BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
  • Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Licensed PT in Georgia


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • No weekends or on-call requirements.
  • No floating required.

Location Highlights

Waycross offers access to outdoor recreation and regional travel routes in southeast Georgia. Laura S. Walker State Park is located about 10 miles from central Waycross and includes a 120-acre lake, hiking trails, and golf at the Okefenokee Golf Club. The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge is about 8 miles south of the city and provides boating, wildlife viewing, and boardwalk access in one of the largest blackwater swamps in North America. Downtown Waycross includes the historic district and the Okefenokee Heritage Center, while U.S. Routes 1, 23, 82, and 84 provide convenient driving access across the region.
