Skypark Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and patient-centered Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. This role is focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population while collaborating with our PTs, aides, and front desk team to create a supportive, professional clinic environment.
New graduates are encouraged to apply. We have a strong track record of welcoming new PTAs straight out of CAPTE-accredited programs and giving them the mentorship and structure they need to thrive.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Caseload: Up to 20 visits/day under PT supervision

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Caseload
Treat and manage a patient caseload of up to 20 visits/day under PT supervision, upholding high standards for evidence-based care
Deliver effective interventions per the supervising PT's plan of care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with payer, regulatory, and clinic standards
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and supervising therapists to support engagement and continuity of care
Collaboration & Professional Growth
Collaborate with PTs, aides, and front desk staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
Participate in team meetings and in-service education sessions
Provide input on clinic processes and patient care strategies
Use your $500 CEU stipend to continue developing clinically and professionally
Compliance & Quality Standards
Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare, and California state licensing board requirements
Ensure timely progress notes per payer and clinic standards
Support clinic readiness for audits and payer reviews through accurate documentation
Patient Experience & Clinic Culture
Contribute to a professional, welcoming, and patient-focused clinic environment
Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications
Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited program
Active California Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligible - new grads with pending licensure welcome to apply)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Outpatient orthopedic experience a plus (not required)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
