Physician Anesthesiology-Cardiac - Competitive Salary

Med Ninjas is recruiting a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a growing cardiac anesthesia program along Michigan's lakeshore. The role pays $325 per hour for in-house clinical shifts with flexible full-time and part-time schedules, personally performed cardiac anesthesia, and general anesthesia during non-cardiac weeks.

Case Mix & Team

• Practice in a care team model providing medical direction over CRNAs with the opportunity to personally perform cases

• Diverse general and complex case mix including orthopedic elective and trauma, gynecology, ENT, complex vascular, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology including EP and structural heart, OB, and full-scope cardiothoracic cases

• Utilization of peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques to reach enhanced recovery goals

• Opportunity to teach residents and students

• Call and holidays are shared among the group in a manner that creates individual hourly and compensation flexibility

Compensation & Benefits

• $325 per hour for in-house clinical shifts; 1.0 FTE equals 2,000 hours annually

• Additional shifts at $365 per hour

• Weekday call $70/hour; Friday night call $80/hour; weekend and holiday call $80/hour

• Call-back and additional time at $650 per 2-hour increment

• Up to $75,000 annually in value-based incentives tied to quality, outcomes, and system performance

• Starting bonus up to $25,000

You Must Have

• Board certification, or board eligibility with certification within two years, in Anesthesiology

• Michigan license, or willingness to obtain

• Active DEA, or willingness to obtain

• ACLS and BLS, or willingness to obtain

• State interest in full-time or part-time employment

• NPDB self-query pulled within the last 30 days

• Credentialing fees are not reimbursed by the health system
