Physician Cardiology - Competitive Salary

### Locums | Invasive Cardiology | Medford, OR (Active OR License Required)### Why This Role

• Flexible commitment of one to two weeks per month
• Combination of hospital, clinic, and call coverage
• Approximately 7‚Äì9 patients per shift
• Two cardiologists needed
### Assignment Details
• Location: Medford, Oregon
• Start Date: January 1, 2027
• End Date: Ongoing
• Commitment: Approximately 7‚Äì14 shifts or one to two weeks per month
• Weekend Coverage: One to two weekends per month
• Daytime Schedule: 8:00 AM‚Äì5:00 PM onsite
• Weeknight Call: Beeper call from 5:00 PM‚Äì8:00 AM
• Weekend Call: 24-hour beeper call
• Call Response Time: Approximately 15‚Äì20 minutes
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
• Temporary Privileges: Not available
• Hospital Privileges: Required
• Guaranteed Hours: Eight hours per scheduled day
### Requirements
• Board-certified Cardiologist
• Active Oregon medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with:
- Cardioversion - Transesophageal echocardiography - Stress echocardiography - Echocardiogram interpretation - EKG interpretation - Stress-test interpretation
• Current CV required at submission
• Must provide availability for interviews during the next two weeks
### Preferred
• Nuclear cardiology interpretation experience
### Clinical Details
• Approximately 7‚Äì9 patients per shift
• Level III trauma environment
• Support includes:
- 1 RN - 5 Medical Assistants - 7 office staff members
• No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
• Initial physician screening followed by a virtual team interview
