Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)


• Annual patient volume of 32,000 with daily patient volume of 90-100 patients


• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift


• Emergency department consists of 22 beds


• 1 physician with 2 mid-level split coverage model


• Open ICU facility


• EMR system: Meditech 6.1


• 24-hour support services available including Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology


• Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS


• Board certification required


• Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments


• Travel costs capped at $500.00
