Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Emergency Medicine Physician position requiring Florida licensure at time of presentation


• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine


• Minimum 6+ months of experience required


• PM shift coverage needed with 10-hour shift lengths


• Staffing model includes 3-4 Physicians and 3 APPs on shift


• Emergency department consists of 33 bays with a patient volume of 1.8-2.0 patients per hour


• ED admission rate of 26-30%


• Adult patient population only with no pediatric cases (dedicated pediatric unit on site)


• No trauma center designation


• Normal emergency room support staff provided


• Low attrition team environment with a collaborative and hardworking group
