Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Must be BCEM boarded or have previous HCA experience


• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine (IM/FP/ABEM) required


• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required if not ABEM certified


• Case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiencies


• 12-hour shifts available covering both AM and PM coverage


• Duration of need is 6-12 months to start


• FSED locations feature 12 bays with low to mid acuity patient mix and single provider coverage


• Main facility features 80 bays with mid to high acuity patient mix and multi-provider coverage


• Patient volume of 2-2.5 patients per hour at peak volumes


• ED admission rate of 8-10% at FSED and approximately 30% at main facility


• No trauma center designation


• 5 positions available
