Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine via ABEM or AOBEM required


• Alternatively, board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with three years of Emergency Medicine experience will be considered


• Must possess current ACLS and PALS certifications


• Projected annual patient volume of 19,000 visits per year (approximately 52 patients per day)


• Facility features 12 private patient care beds, a dedicated trauma room, and a dedicated pediatric treatment room


• Locum need is equivalent to 2 FTEs


• Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends


• Preference for providers open to working at both the main hospital campus and affiliated freestanding emergency departments


• Main hospital campus may consider shifts less than 12 hours; affiliated freestanding emergency departments require 12-hour shifts

Facility:

This freestanding emergency department provides comprehensive emergency care services to the surrounding community, fully integrated with a larger hospital campus to ensure seamless patient care transitions. The facility is equipped with modern private patient care beds, a dedicated trauma room, and a specialized pediatric treatment room. Patients requiring inpatient admission are transferred to the main campus or affiliated facilities, supported by a team of experienced intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
