Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Coverage needed at main hospital campus and affiliated freestanding emergency departments in the surrounding area


• Locum need is equivalent to 2 FTEs


• Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends


• Preference for providers open to working at both main hospital campus and affiliated freestanding emergency departments


• Main hospital campus may consider shifts less than 12 hours; affiliated freestanding emergency departments require 12-hour shifts


• Freestanding emergency departments provide comprehensive emergency services as well as laboratory and imaging services


• Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM), or board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with a minimum of 3 years and 6,000 hours of direct emergency medicine experience


• ACLS and PALS certifications required


• ATLS recommended but not absolutely required for freestanding emergency department positions
