Job Details:
- Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join the team for a new free-standing emergency department
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
- EMR: MEDITECH
- Providers must have 3 years full-time emergency room work and 6,000 hours in the ED to be considered
- Will accept board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine only if the provider has 6,000 hours of ER experience and full-time emergency room work in the three years preceding application
- Must have ACLS and PALS; ATLS is recommended but not absolutely necessary
- State-of-the-art free-standing emergency department with 12-bed private exam rooms and designated trauma room
- Annual emergency department volume of 11,000
- Physician daily coverage: 24 hours
- Patients per hour: 1.3
- Diagnostic imaging on-site including X-rays and CT scans, with and without contrast
- Ultrasound on call 24/7 with a 30-minute response time
- Laboratory services on-site
