Job Details:

• Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a dynamic and collaborative team


• Recently renovated Emergency Department seeing 45,000 patient visits annually


• 28-bed ED including bariatric and private rooms


• Cerner EMR system in use


• 36 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of APP coverage


• Friendly and supportive nursing staff


• No trauma; No OB/GYN; low pediatric volume (6%)


• Large adult and senior volume with high acuity supported by hospitalist team


• Stroke Center with tele-neurology currently being implemented


• Independent Contractor Status


• Available shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM


• New providers will start with two 12-hour shifts


• 2 positions available

This facility is a full-service acute care hospital serving the greater Tampa Bay area of Florida. The Emergency Department is newly renovated and equipped with modern technology to support high-acuity patient care, including a Stroke Center and robust hospitalist team support. The hospital fosters a collaborative and supportive environment with a strong nursing staff dedicated to delivering quality patient outcomes.
