### Assignment Details
• Location: Portage, Wisconsin
• Initial Coverage Dates: November 25‚Äì27, 2026
• Shift Hours: 6:00 AM‚Äì6:30 PM
• Future Need: Ongoing coverage is expected in 2027; additional dates are not yet confirmed
• Setting: Combined emergency department and urgent care
• Call: None
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
• Temporary Privileges: Available
### Requirements
• Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician
• Active Wisconsin medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Active ACLS and ATLS certifications
• Availability for the complete November 25‚Äì27 coverage block
### Clinical Details
• Approximately 20 patients per shift
• Approximately 40‚Äì60 patients across each 24-hour period
• 13-bed department
• Level IV trauma environment
• Physician works alongside two APPs during day and evening coverage
• Support includes:
- 4 RNs - 1 Medical Assistant - 2 APPs - 1 office staff member
• General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Hospitalist support
• Telestroke and tele-ICU services
• Medical helicopter onsite
• No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
