Were seeking a passionate and driven Family Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care & Pediatrics - Rockford team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Position Type:Full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Location:6050 Northland Dr Ste 200, Rockford, MI 49341
  • Specialty:Family Medicine Physician, outpatient
  • Team Size: 8 Family Medicine physicians, 2 Pediatricians, 1 Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, and 2 Pediatrics Nurse Practitioners
    • Clinical Care Team Size:2 providers and 3 MAs/LPNs
  • Teaching Opportunities:Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
  • Call Requirements:Phone call coverage 1 week every 2 months, 5pm to 12am weekday, 7am to 7pm weekend
  • Additional Details: Panel to develop immediately.

Requirements

  • Open to new graduates
  • Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
