Physician Gastroenterology - Competitive Salary

Central Illinois (45 Minutes South of Champaign) – GI Hospitalist Job

Clinical Role:

• Permanent, full-time position

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible gastroenterologist

• Inpatient GI Hospitalist opportunity

• 7-on / 7-off schedule

• Round-and-go model, with the ability to return to the hospital between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

• On call for the full 24 hours during scheduled coverage days

• Must be available to return for urgent and emergent cases, typically food bolus impactions or GI bleeds

• Primary focus is providing timely GI call coverage, improving response times, and reducing the need to transfer patients to outside facilities

• No outpatient procedures required

• Opportunity to perform outpatient procedures for additional compensation

• Daily census, admission volume, and average call volume are being confirmed

• Cerner EMR

• Clinical autonomy with physician-directed practice

• W2 employment

Compensation & Benefits:

• $725,000 flat annual salary — no RVU-based compensation

• $75,000 sign-on bonus

• $100,000 retention bonus

• Additional compensation available for optional outpatient procedures
