Physician Gastroenterology - Competitive Salary

Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on Mondays, Wednesdays, half-Thursdays, and Fridays


• See patients in the office on Tuesdays and half-Thursdays


• Take night call every night and round on patient consults in the hospital


• Overtime is calculated after 40 hours, not daily


• Expected patient encounters per shift: 20-25


• Coverage need for May 18-22 available - please indicate provider availability


• Required procedural skills include: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, and PEG), esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), and colonoscopy (with biopsy and excision of polyp)


• Minimum board certification eligible required; board certification not mandatory


• Fellowship required


• Locum Tenens assignment, ASAP start with ongoing need
