Gastroenterologist Opening – Knoxville, TennesseePosition Details

• Employed position
• Seeking a fourth BC/BE gastroenterologist to join a thriving and expanding gastroenterology practice.
• Practice has been established for four decades.
• Outpatient-focused practice with rounding and consults for Knoxville Gastrointestinal Specialists patients only
• A separate GI group covers the inpatient call
• Call for the practice is one week at a time with consultations averaging 2-5 per week
• ERCP is preferred but not required
• Full-time support of two Nurse Practitioners
• Wait times for procedures can be 6 weeks
• Immediate volume with established referral patterns
