Physician Gastroenterology - Competitive Salary

Gastroenterology Opportunity: Oswego, NYBenefits

• Salary range of $750K to $800K plus wRVU model
• $100K sign-on bonus
• Relocation reimbursement up to $10K with receipts
• Student loan assistance of $30K over the length of the contract, if applicable
• 38 days of PTO and CME time, including 6 legal holidays

Qualifications
• Board certified or board eligible, with intent to sit for boards
• ERCP required
• Visa sponsorship candidates accepted
• Candidates available in 2026 or 2027
Position Details
• 3-year employment agreement
• Hospital employed, at the Seneca Hill Health Center campus in Oswego, about 10 minutes from Oswego Hospital
• Monday to Friday, 8:00a to 4:30p; 50% office and 50% OR
• Bread and butter GI: screenings, GI bleeds, polyp recalls
• No EUS capability today, but open to discussion
• About 20 patients per day in clinic and about 15 scopes per day in the OR, plus inpatient consults as needed
• 7 days of ED call per month in the base contract: 5 weekdays and 2 weekend days (weekend runs 5p Friday to 7a Monday)
• Joins 1 full-time general gastroenterologist and 1 full-time gastroenterologist who performs ERCP
• Replaces the advanced procedure physician, who is retiring; 2 part-time physicians are also planning to retire
• 2 full-time APPs, adding a third
• EMR: Meditech
