Physician Gynecology-Oncology - Competitive Salary

Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• 4 shifts per week, 8-10 hours per day depending on patient volume


• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week


• Daily patient volume of 12-15 patients per day


• Outpatient clinical hours plus light call coverage


• Call is beeper only for established patients, very light at 2-5 calls per week via phone only with 1-hour response time


• Join an established Hematology/Oncology practice with 3 additional permanent providers already on-site


• Support staff includes 6 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and 6 office staff


• EMR system used is Aria


• Board certified or board eligible required, fellowship required


• Active VA license required


• ABLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required


• Apartment available for lodging


• Preference given to candidates with long-term commitment and driving-distance proximity

This is a community hospital and outpatient oncology center serving the surrounding region with a well-established Hematology and Oncology practice. The facility is stroke certified and operates as a non-trauma center. The oncology department is fully staffed with permanent providers, nursing support, and administrative personnel, offering a collaborative and structured environment for providers joining the team.
