Physician - Hospital Medicine
Job Details:
- Full-time Hospitalist position operating on a 7 on / 7 off block schedule for optimal work-life balance
- Daily census of approximately 45 patients shared between day and night providers
- Admissions volume of approximately 5-10 per day
- Staffing model typically includes 2 providers per shift
- Closed ICU model with specialty and intensivist support available
- Collegial, team-based Hospital Medicine program focused on bread-and-butter Internal Medicine with strong subspecialty backup
- Opportunity to influence patient flow, quality, and operational improvements
- Strong collaboration with primary care and specialty teams throughout the system
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
