Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Job Details:
- Permanent, full-time non-invasive cardiology position based in an outpatient clinic setting
- Join a newly established cardiology clinic designed to serve primary care patients needing cardiology referrals and testing
- Work alongside one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to meet the needs of the medical group and local community
- Call schedule of 7 days per month, including one call day per week and one weekend per month
- Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology services, including ICU coverage
- Perform and interpret echocardiography, including TEE (Transesophageal Echo)
- Conduct nuclear cardiology studies including Cardiolyte and thallium imaging
- Perform stress treadmill testing for patients within the medical group and community
- Electrophysiology experience preferred, including cardiac ablation
- Experience with permanent pacemaker placement preferred
- Experience with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (AICD/ICD) preferred
- STEMI experience preferred
- Interventional cardiology services will be referred to other local cardiologists
- Board certification required with BLS certification
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
