A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and hands-on medical care within a comprehensive Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
This is an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Hospice & Palliative Medicine physician who enjoys caring for medically complex older adults and wants to combine direct patient care with meaningful clinical leadership.
The Medical Director works closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centered care that helps older adults remain safely in their communities.
Position Highlights- Full-time Medical Director opportunity
- Combination of clinical care and medical leadership
- Work with a collaborative Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)
- Provide care to frail, medically complex and primarily elderly patients
- Clinical oversight of mid-level providers
- Participate in quality improvement and utilization review
- Hospital and residential patient evaluations as clinically indicated
- Hospice and palliative care involvement
- Community physician and healthcare-provider collaboration
- Participate in an on-call rotation
