Assignment Details
• Start/end: Near-term block November 26 (7am) through November 30 (7am); additional 2027 dates coming; ongoing
• Schedule: Call only; beeper call, 30-min response, 2% callback
• Coverage type: Call only, inpatient
• Volume: ~10 patients/shift; 1-2 admissions; ~100 deliveries/year; 85 beds
• Setting: Stroke certified, admissions required
• Support: Not specified
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: ~30 days (an active IN license is required to qualify for temp privileges on near-term dates)
Clinical Details
• Required scope: Low-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation), routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, surgical gynecology (open, operative/major), laser certification
• Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients
Requirements
• Board certified in OB/GYN
• License: any state accepted (IN obtained during credentialing)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Active DEA
Compensation
